Acuvue Oasys for Astigamatism is a new generation of toric lenses from Johnson & Johnson for people who want extra comfort and reduction of dry-eyes symptoms at the end of the day.

The lenses are made from a silicon based material that provides your eyes with more oxygen than a traditional lens, which gives you whiter and healthier eyes. Thanks to the unique ASD-design the lens quickly stabilizes to avoid the sensation of the lens moving when you blink.

The lens uses Johnson & Johnson's patented moisturizing system, Hydraclear Plus – a technique that gives a more moisturizing and friction-reducing usage, for optimal comfort from early morning to late night. The lens also blocks out harmful UV- radiation, although for maximal protection against the suns harmful rays, the lenses should always be used with high-quality UV- blocking sunglasses and a sunhat.

Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism can be used as either a 1– or 2 -week lens. If you wish to use the lenses for 2 weeks you must take them out at the end of each day and clean them, and put them back in in the morning. If you wish to use the lens as a 24 hour lens, you can, but then the lens can only be used for a week.

Usage
These weekly disposable contacts can be used in two different ways. You either use the contacts every day around the clock for up to a week, or you use them only during the day for up to two weeks. If the contacts are used as two-week contacts they should be taken out and be cleansed with a proper solution each night and be put in again in the morning.
Always follow your optician’s recommendations for usage and managing contact lenses since the wear schedules for contacts are very individual.
