Three world-renowned explorers, perfumers Jordi Fernandez, Olivier Pescheux, and Antoine Maisondieu, have collaborated with Montblanc to create Explorer Ultra Blue, a fragrance that awakens the desire to discover nature's palette in blue.
Explorer Ultra Blue opens with Italian bergamot and other citrus fruits of the finest quality, combined with a touch of pink pepper. This creates a fresh, spicy top note that ignites our wanderlust.
A marine accord takes us to the pulsating heart of the fragrance, with a deep blue aquatic note created by combining citrus with aquatic and airy notes. The result is like a fresh breeze that takes us to alpine landscapes, with a hint of sea breeze. These fresh, salty, airy notes are contrasted with the sensual and deep scent of ambergris.
The final note to discover takes us to the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia, where we find a base note that defines the structure of the fragrance, an exclusive patchouli created specifically for Montblanc. This patchouli is light and clean and is masterfully combined here with woody notes that give the fragrance a rich base with hints of leather.
