Cicamed ASD 3in1 Active Spot Treatment has a triple active formulation that reduces acne while also preventing subsequent scars and discoloration. Currently, there is no other product on the market that addresses acne, scars, and discoloration in a single treatment.
Acne and pimples are the most common skin condition in Sweden. Acne can occur at any age, but it is most common during adolescence. 8 out of 10 teenagers are affected by acne, and almost all teenagers get pimples. One-third of teenagers between the ages of twelve and seventeen have acne severe enough to benefit from some form of treatment. Approximately 10% of adults aged 20-45 in Sweden suffer from acne. Key ingredients- Salicylic acid 2% has anti-inflammatory and keratolytic effects. Salicylic acid penetrates pores, softening and removing dead skin from the epidermis.
- Niacinamide has anti-inflammatory properties and bacteriostatic effects against Propionibacterium acnes. Niacinamide can also reduce scars and discoloration.
- Allantoin has healing, soothing, and keratolytic effects, as well as counteracting discolored skin.
- Panthenol stimulates increased cell renewal, resulting in faster healing, finer scars, and reduced discoloration.
- Silicones create a protective occlusive barrier that creates a favorable environment for scar healing.
- Aloe vera and witch hazel have soothing properties and reduce redness.
