Patchouli Indonesia

On the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia, we find the Patchouli bush used to create this perfume. After being harvested, the leaves are dried for a whole year and then fermented. The scent can be described as a unique intertwining of earthy and tobacco notes, which then deepen into a distinct woody character. Through distillation, an essential oil can finally be obtained.
